TCRSF Fair Day Schedule

Suggested packing checklist for competing at the regional science fair – PDF of Packing Checklist

Parking (teachers, parents, students):

Parking is free for the TCRSF days at the Minnesota Fairground Coliseum. We recommend parking in the Midway Parking Lot (see map). See Schedule - Maps for a map of the Fairgrounds Coliseum location.

Direction for Unloading and Loading Projects:

The Coliseum is located at Clough St and Judson Ave in St. Paul. Student loading and unloading is along Judson Ave.

The schedule for Friday

8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Volunteers set up show floor and registration
1:00 p.m.-3:45 p.m. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. Project Registration Check In
1:00 p.m.-3:45 p.m. Display & Safety inspection All exhibits must be cleared before competition
12 or 1 p.m.-9 p.m. Concessions available - bring small bills! for students & adults Food in concessions areas only – No food in exhibit area
after 3:00 p.m. Judges Arrival Judge Check In - Assignments recommended 3:30 p.m.
3:15 p.m. Recommended setup completion time for all students, including clearing Display and Safety
3:50 p.m. All students at project exhibits. All teachers and parents leave the exhibit area.
4:00 p.m. Judging Start Time for all students grades 6-12
7:30 p.m. Estimated middle school dismissal time Grade 6-8
9:30 p.m. Estimated high school dismissal time Grades 9-12

The schedule for Saturday

8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Volunteers only at show floor to prepare awards program. No students.

The schedule for Sunday

Time Event
9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Volunteers only.
10:00 a.m. Students pick up ribbons for project and research paper entries. * Student name badge is required.
11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Show floor is open to the public.
12:00 p.m. All students and adults move to the stands for the awards program.
Approx 1:30 p.m. All project exhibits must be removed immediately after the awards program.
